Need to understand tile roofs better?

Do you have a roof leak or think you have storm damage on your tile roof?

A Little About Tile!

When you have damage or just a leak starting to a tile roof it is best to first understand your tile roof how it works!

Roof tiles are made of either clay or concrete, usually heated to cure properly. These tiles have several different options, may have coating for durability of just to offer more of a variety of colors. The tile manufacturers have their own size, color and style to choose from. Roofing Experts is approved to install all of the manufacturers available and have product approvals in the State of Florida.

How It Should Be Installed!

Tile Roof Systems can be attached either mechanically (nails or screws) or the preferred method of foam adhesive attachment. Our technicians are certified by these manufacturers to install correctly, which this makes it possible for our well-trained roof technician to, make necessary repairs on your existing roof?

When the tiles are installed, they are first installed by local building codes. Now with Roofing Experts all of roofs are installed according to Miami-Dade Building Codes to ensure that your roof is installed using the maximum technology and mostly maximum HVHZ or High Velocity Hurricane Zone requirements...

Some Information On HVHZ!

HVHZ is very important when installing your roof in Florida or even along the coast. By installing HVHZ, what does it really mean? Well it means the amount or how it is attached to the sheathing; this makes all the difference based on the manufacturers testing with Florida Product Approval Testing. Which this also includes the highest UL Rating for your roof. Please refer to our HVHZ page or our Product Approval page for further information on these important factors.
